Cost Savings Cost Savings [ top ] …If someone is looking for something, I tell them to call Ferguson - they will find the best price. Ability to order a product with a quick turnaround time and at a reduced cost. [The Ferguson associate] has really bent over backwards to to go the extra step to make sure we get what we need. When the equipment is down I want to talk to her about what I need. She comes up with suppliers when I cannot, she has saved us money through shopping around for best pricing... "They really strive to get us the products here on time and Very helpful, investigate other alternatives that may save me money; quick at getting orders in. Great team effort to reduce costs and lessen impact of inflation. Customer Service [ top ] The people at Ferguson are always willing to get what you need if they don't have it. It's usually a pretty fast process. Ferguson has been a geat help to me everyday to get things done. Customer service is prompt and associates are a pleasure to work with. In the infrequent situations where there has been a problem resolution is both quick and complete. The local team is very supportive and very responsive in their support, notification of receipt and dilligent in follow-up of critical items. I am very pleased with the individual job performance of each Ferguson employee I have worked with. They are knowledgable of most items you request help with and are constantly improving the process of ordering and purchasing equipment components and supplies for me. The commodity buyers are well trained and very knowledgable. "In the fourteen years of service I've worked here, this has been Overall, service by Ferguson is outstanding. Have never, ever encountered any type of problem. Most helpful. Absolutely no complaints, the personnel are professionals and dedicated to providing excellent service. All I do is turn in the material request and know it will be handed correctly with on time delivery. If by some chance, the wrong items are shipped, returns are no hassle. I wish other service (supplier) organizations could be so efficient! [I'm] completely confident with everyone at Ferguson. Always find away to get the job done. There is nothing these folks won't do for us. Storeroom Management [ top ] It is impossible to stock all products in the stockroom. My experience has been what parts/pieces are needed, the stockroom personnel go out of their way to ensure the correct product is ordered and delivery times are accurate. Expediting back-orders are at the mercy of the supplier the stockroom buys from. Stockroom personnel have provided adequate updates and status on any back orders. "On rare occasions, I will have an urgent request for materials needed same day. The stockroom personnel make it their urgency, expedite the order and have been successful on every occasion. Now, that's customer service!" I feel that our stockroom arrangement is the best that it has been in several years. Ferguson crib does a great job of providing supplies and replacement parts to our department. I am constantly impressed with their attention to details, making sure we have necessary supplies. Bins are being updated periodically and supplies are there when we need them the most. On site supply attendants do a wonderfull job. All three that I have worked with consistently follow up on requests. All three seem to work hard to make sure that we have the right supplies on hand in our area. What would you tell others? [ top ] I would tell them that Ferguson will go the extra mile for them and help them in anyway possible. Fast turn around and always willing to help at the drop of a hat. Great service. Knowledgeable and commited Team. Great at working through and resolving problems. They do the job, just that simple. Their service is prompt and reliable.
