Ferguson and Stock Building Supply to Exhibit at the 2008 International Builder Show

NEWPORT NEWS, VA – Wolseley’s North American operating companies, including Ferguson and Stock Building Supply, will exhibit at the International Builder Show on February 13-16, 2008, in Orlando, Fla.  The show is the world’s largest and most comprehensive building industry show with more than 1.5 million square feet of the latest and most advanced building products and services available.  The event will be held at the Orange County Convention Center and will provide exhibition space to more than 1,800 industry-related businesses and organizations.

“Wolseley looks forward to the International Builder Show each year, as it provides an ideal opportunity to meet with and showcase our offerings to professionals in the industry,” said President and CEO of Wolseley’s North American Division Frank Roach.  “As Wolseley continues to grow within North America and Europe, it is events such as IBS that allow us to collectively position our sister companies and define ourselves as the ‘Whole House’ solution for our customers.”

Wolseley has joined forces with well known actor and environmental activist, Ed Begley, Jr. Begley will conduct presentations within the Ferguson/Stock booth from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. on February 15.  The focus of these presentations will be on green building initiatives and the benefits of environmentally friendly Vertex water heaters, manufactured by A.O. Smith.  Begley will be available to answer questions, sign autographs and offer advice on living and building green.

“I began my journey on sustainable living back in 1970 and am so excited to have this opportunity to educate others on how they can make simple lifestyle changes and live green,” said Begley.  “A. O. Smith and their Vertex help us tell the green story by giving consumers an efficient and green option when choosing a water heater.”

As the world’s largest specialist trade distributor of plumbing and heating products to professional contractors and the leading supplier of building materials, Wolseley will showcase their products and services to the new construction and remodel markets.  The 2,400 square-foot booth emphasizes Wolseley’s capabilities and the relationship between sister companies, Ferguson and Stock Building Supply.  Through working together to provide a well-rounded array of products and services, Wolseley’s North American Operating Companies provide contractors an outlet for one-stop shopping for all of their building material needs.
