Ferguson has Disaster Recovery Supplies in Stock

NEWPORT NEWS, VA - In response to the flooding that is occurring in Eastern Iowa, Ferguson has stocked plumbing supplies to assist those in the community impacted by this disaster.  Ferguson locations are open to the public as well as contractors to purchase emergency/recovery items.

Ferguson is there to support the surrounding communities with their emergency needs, with items like generators, extension cords, batteries, tarps, flashlights and other products that will arrive tomorrow, via a disaster supply truck that will stock the Ferguson location.  The original delivery was scheduled for Sunday, but is ahead of schedule.

Each location has plumbing products in stock and has extended hours for contractors.  If your home has been damaged by the flood, Ferguson is here to help.  Please call your local contractor to coordinate the purchase and installation of water heaters, water softeners, and sump pumps/accessories, which may have been damaged by the floods.

"With the record flooding in our communities, the upcoming days and weeks will prove very difficult. We are loaded up on plumbing products and emergency/safety supplies," said Jess Gonzalez, general manager for Eastern Iowa.   "I am very proud of our employees; many of them have been personally affected by this disaster, but they are determined to serve our communities. Ferguson is committed to the people of Eastern Iowa and we are eager to help."
