Ferguson Industrial Plastics to Manufacture HDPE FM Fittings

NEWPORT NEWS, VA—Ferguson Industrial Plastics is pleased to announce the approval from Factory Mutual (FM) Global to manufacture High Density Polyethylene (HDPR) Factory Mutual fittings for fire loop systems, and other applications that require FM fittings.  Ferguson’s inventory will consist of 2” through 24” molded and fabricated HDPE FM fittings, which will covers the majority of usage across North America. 

Ferguson Industrial Plastics is currently building their HDPE FM inventory and expects to have this process completed by the end of June.  Ferguson Industrial Plastics’ main branch (#3067) in Washougal, Wash., will be in charge of fabricating and inventorying the new HDPE FM product line.
