Outdoor tankless heater VB
I have had the unit for 2 months
1. the Unit was installed outdoors-freeing up a closet space indoors for storage.
2. The recirculation pump assures hot water at all faucets when desired.
3. The unit is very quiet when standing next to it outside. However, the unit was attached to the brick on the outside of the house and it transmitted a loud humming sound into the adjacent room when the fan comes on. the installer placed rubber shims between the brick and the frame and that significantly reduced that noise. to a tolerable level.
Also, when the circulating pump runs, there is a moderately loud humming sound that can be heard near any faucet in the house and in the closet where the old gas water tank was located. . The noise seems to subside when a faucet is turned on and after the water gets warm in the distal bathroom. It seems that the pump is noisy or the water flows too fast but I am just guessing. I am investigating solutions and would appreciate any advice.

Alot of water is wasted befor you finally get the
Alot of water is wasted befor you finally get the water to come thru the pipe hot. The temperature is a complicated process to adjust. There is no indicator of what the temperature is actually adjusted to.

Great upgrade
The endless supply of hot water is great! The only thing we’ve discovered is not to try to run 3 showers simultaneously (as after a day at the beach with a houseful of guests) as that seemed to overwhelm the system and it had to be reset. That was the only time we’ve had an issue though admittedly a very inconvenient time to have one.
