Product Details

• Positive air pressure attenuator (PAPA); perfect complement to Studor air admittance valves (AAVs); 3-inch spigot connects to piping via no-hub coupling or flexible coupling
• Studor AAVs resolve negative pressure in the system while the PAPA (positive air pressure attenuator) effectively combats the positive pressure transients; together, they prevent siphonage and blowing of traps
• Designed for commercial use in multistory buildings; eliminates the need for extensive and costly vent piping and roof penetrations (when used in combination with an AAV); can also be retrofitted into an existing drainage system to solve positive pressure problems
• Temperature rating of -40°F to 150°F (-40°C to 65.6°C); meets ASSE 1030 performance requirements; requires no maintenance as all Studor products are non-mechanical devices
