- Originally designed for handling sheet glass, these gloves have also become popular in the paper and corrugated industries where cardboard panels are being cut with knives
- A solid nitrile palm coating resists punctures and provides a tacky grip to ensure a positive dry surface contact
- SafeLite® gloves provide a positive grip on dry flat surfaces that can be sharp
- Due to their tacky grip, these gloves are not recommended for use when turning nuts, bolts, or screws with a power tool as this can result in a "wrap-up"
- Applications include trimming operations in paper mills, cardboard manufacturing, plastic mold trimming, and glass window and door assembly

- Nitrile can become slippery on surfaces coated with water-based fluids
