Finally a hook that holds heavy towels!
Love, love, love these. I gulped at the price, but after reading the reviews, I bought three for my master bath. They arrived in only 3 days. They look so good and function so well that I just ordered 3 more for a guest bath. No more fighting to get towels to stay on. Worth the price.

Great solution for small bathrooms
When we were remodeling bathrooms is a mid-century urban high rise, we had a great deal of difficulty finding towel bars that fit in our minimum wall spaces. Even 18" towel bars were too wide for most wall space! These hooks have met our needs. The depth of the hook and the finial at the end allow us to hang our thick, heavy towels without having them fall. We also used the hook next to the vanity for a hand towel, which the hook holds perfectly without a special fold or any ring to push towel thru. Beautiful finish in satin nickel.

Great as a towel hook
It is solid brass. I never had something like this before so I was worried that the towel I was going to drape over this would slide off but that doesn't happen. I mounted this to a stud but I have a few different fixtures with the same mount type and this would have mounted well to dry wall also. I'm happy that I purchased it. The location I mounted this is 6.5 inches wide and I was considering buying 2 to put in that space but that would have been a mistake. One was enough for the space. I could have purchased the double hook of this item to put in that space but it was overkill for my particular situation. I also purchased a towel bar installed in a different location but I sometimes think I could have just purchased more of these hooks instead.
