Quality hose
It is a a good quality hose. Not too heavy and not flimsily. I ordered the matte black and it is holding up well with the hard water in Arizona. So far no issues.

Not the best quality
This was a replacement hose. The old one draped well in a smooth loop. This one does not. It arrived badly coiled in a bag. After several weeks it still hangs awkwardly. It seems that the plastic tube inside may be of a different formulation than the old one that takes a set when bent. Had the same issue with a replacement faucet part where the plastic tube of the replacement could not be fitted with a curve but just kinked.

Kohler products aren’t what they used to be.
I must once again voice my complaint about the powder coating Kohler uses. It scratches easily and for the great expense of their products I would like to see my purchases look like new for more than a few months.

Maybe bad luck, but my second hose just broke/ ruptured (each one in < 1 year)
This product was installed and pre-selected by our developer. Less than a year into our first use (in which we only really use the handheld to rinse off the walls/ glass), the metal casing links broke and split open- followed by the hose bulging out and ultimately bursting. This is the replacement installed in May 2022- already happening again! This is frustrating, but Kohler has generally been extremely helpful with lifetime warranties and replacements.
