Toilets set the tone of your customers’ bathrooms, extending style throughout their home into those smaller, more personal details. Ferguson offers a vast inventory of home toilets so you can always access the best options for your projects.
Choose toilets according to height, flow rate and other specifications, or shop by popular brands, including American Standard®, KOHLER®, PROFLO®, Signature Hardware® and TOTO®. Explore features of different toilets to help you meet and exceed your customers’ expectations.
Skirted toilets vs. standard: The standard toilet shows the trapway and bolts or bolt covers. While this design is most common and easier to both install and repair, homeowners can find it tedious to keep free of dust and water marks. A skirted toilet has smooth lines that reach the floor, covering those hard-to-reach crevices and bolts. The sleek design makes cleaning much easier, but skirted toilets can be more time-consuming to install and repair.
One-piece toilets vs. two-piece: Typically easier to install as well as clean, one-piece toilets deliver a polished look in your customers’ homes. They cost a bit more and you’ll need to replace the entire unit if your customer chips or cracks either the tank or bowl.
Two-piece units are more common for home toilets. When installing these, you press or bolt the tank and bowl together for a waterproof seal. These have more surface area and crevices for the homeowner to dust and clean, but they also allow mixing and matching shapes and toilet height, and making repairs or replacements doesn’t require buying both pieces.
Elongated toilets vs. round: As homeowners prioritize comfort and luxury, elongated toilets are becoming more popular. These are more pleasant to sit on and provide a modern look. For bathrooms with less space or households with younger children, a toilet with a traditional round bowl could be the perfect fit. ADA-compliant toilets are available in both shapes.
Floor-mount vs. wall-hung: Traditional floor-mount toilets are more common in residential bathrooms due to their ease of installation and cost. Wall-hung toilets are a bit more expensive while saving space, and they’re gaining popularity with homeowners who value a more modern look and sleek touches to highlight their personal style.
Flush type: Gravity-fed flushes have long been the traditional type in homes. In these, the weight and volume of the water in the tank flows down to flush the toilet. Another type is the pressure-assist or power flush, which forces wastewater out using air pressure. These are better at clog prevention but often louder than toilets using gravity flush. Ferguson also offers toilets with siphon jet and siphonic flush, double-cyclone or tornado flush and more.
Low-flow residential toilets: Our range of flow rates starts as low as 0.8 gallons per flush (gpf). For customers focused on lowering utility bills, WaterSense-labeled toilets meet EPA requirements for both performance and efficiency. Toilets featuring dual flush allow homeowners to use less water to dispose of liquids and more for solids. Learn more about the benefits of low-flow toilets for you and your customers.
