Sales Leadership Program
Want to build your career in Sales Management?
As a part of our Sales Leadership Program, you will participate in a 3-year rotational development program providing exposure to our various customer groups through on-the-job training, networking, coaching and structured development. On the job learning experiences will include training in areas such as Warehouse, Counter, and Sales (Inside, Showroom, Outside). You will also develop key skills in business awareness, relationship building, collaboration, consultation, inclusion, developing self and others.
Upon successful completion of your training, you will be placed into a front-line sales manager role. Relocation and placement will vary across Ferguson’s 1400+ US based locations.
Outside Sales Training Program
Want to build your career in Business Development?
As a part of this program, you will participate in structured training to learn how to excel in delivering on-time solutions to our customers. Additionally, you will learn how to manage end-to-end sales function for existing as well as prospective customers across warehouse, counter and office settings.
Upon successful completion of your training, you will start working within your Outside Sales territory. Your focus will be on new business development, achieving sales goals and building relationships with the key customers and partners.
Credit Management Training Program
Want to build your career with our credit team, with an emphasis on customer service?
As a part of this program, you will have the opportunity to be mentored 1:1 by a current Ferguson Credit Manager. You’ll receive hands-on learning on what it takes to be successful across credit functions and in customer satisfaction.
Upon successful completion of your training, you will transition into a Market Credit Manager or National Credit Operations Manager position.
Purchasing Training Program
Want to build your career in supporting sourcing, procurement and operations within Ferguson’s Integrated Supply Division?
As a part of this program, you will have the opportunity to learn more about warehouse operations, sourcing and purchasing, and overseeing inventory usage and metrics for the customers.
Upon successful completion of your training, you will work within one of our Integrated locations focusing on vendor relations, inventory management and operations.
Supply Chain Operations Training Program
Want to build your career in business operations and logistics within a warehousing environment?
As a part of this program, you will have the opportunity to participate in 12-months of training, focusing on logistics, supply chain, distribution and warehousing at one of Ferguson’s distribution centers, or DCs. You will acquire the tools and knowledge you need for improving processes and efficiencies while working as part of an industry-leading supplier.
Upon successful completion of your training, you will working within a warehouse supervisory/management role at one of our distribution centers or any of our large warehouses.
Logistics Leadership Training Program
Want to build your career in business operations in a branch warehouse environment?
As a part of this program, you will have the opportunity to participate in six months of training where our dedicated leadership team will guide you through a series of trainings focused on business operations. During this time, you will gain knowledge of supply chain, information systems, order processing, sourcing and logistics.
Upon successful completion of your training, you will work within a Ferguson branch warehouse, with the objective to move into warehouse supervisory/management career opportunities.
