Broan Downdraft Easy Replacement
This replaced identical model from 20 years ago. Installer had no issues, went right in. Works great.

Installed less than a year. Up/Down wont stop
This was bought in 2021 but wasn't installed until a year ago due to covid delays. Its currently unplugged because it wont stop going up and down. Want someone to come out and fix it? It is the same cost as a new one. Extremely disappointing.

The "Up/Down" function doesn't work properly
hi, hoping I get some help from broan here in this forum, I have the 2730/2736 eclipse and installer just installed it. Problem is, the down draft goes "up and down, up and down" and doesn't stop. The other thing is the "flap" is slightly bent, it bows upward in the middle.

Could not use it
This cannot be installed behind a full stove with oven because the motor housing must be facing forward. Odd that suction grill cannot be reversed to face the other side

Perfect replacement
Works great, not too hard to install, although I did have to relocate electrical and gas lines, due to old system was powered from the rear wall. Looks great and more compact than the one it replaced, so more room in the cabinet below.
