- Restraint ring: Ductile iron per ASTM A536, grade 65-45-12, hardened to 40-50 RC with black E-coat epoxy
- Gland: Ductile iron per ASTM A536, grade 65-45-12 with black E-coat epoxy and green topcoat for identification purposes
- Gasket: SBR rubber per ASTM D2000 - NSF 61 approved
- Bolts & nuts: High strength, low alloy steel per ASTM A242 and AWWA C111
- Spacer ring must be used on thin-walled PVC, PVCO and HDPE
- 4"-8" FM approved on PVC, PVCO and ductile iron
- 2:1 safety factor at the full rated pressure of the pipe
