- All brass conforms to AWWA standard C800 (ASTM B62 and/or ASTM B584, UNS NO C83600 - 85-5-5-5)
- Band and 5/8 in. UNC threaded studs are made of type 304 stainless steel. Welds are fully passivated for corrosion resistance
- Gasket is EPDM rubber per ASTM D2000
- Stainless steel nuts are Teflon-coated to prevent galling
- Saddle is designed and suitable for use on both PVC and ductile iron pipe
