Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylish Shower Pan I was looking for an attractive well made shower pan. This one does not disappoint. Very clean lines, unique drain cover. Overall very pleased with my choice.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Missing one feet - drain cover shifts under feet I installed the Archer shower base with a drain cover. One of the four feet on the drain cover is missing. The base cover rocks and moves when you step on it. The double sided tape adhering the four feet is also no good. This is a big problem.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very dangerous This shower pan is very slippery. We had to add some grip strips to keep from falling down. It does not drain so we need to squeegee the floor. The hidden drain stays wet all the time so it is prone to mold if it is not dried after every shower. The cover of the drain is difficult to raise to clean the drain. Whatever you do don't leave it in place after a shower. The replacement is very expensive. Read the reviews elsewhere. We had our shower pan installed 5 years ago. I can't believe Kohler is still selling this awful item.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from My one regret in an otherwise lovely room Renovated a bathroom, and the contractor suggested a solid pan rather than tile for the shower floor. This one was the right size, shape, color, and Kohler's a good name, so what's not to like? As it turns out, lots! It's not all that solid, so it creaks when you move around in the shower. That's annoying, but not impossible to live with. The worst part is the drain configuration. I wish I'd been more curious when I was buying this thing. See that square in the middle? That's a separate plate that sits in a recessed area and lifts up to expose the actual drain. The plate is held in place by bushings at the corners and suction cups attached to the underside. OK, they *were* attached, but the adhesive didn't hold very long, so now it just stays in place by gravity, but still needs the suction cups to keep it from flipping up if you step on it wrong. Now imagine what goes on in a shallow recess around the drain under your feet in the shower. It's not pretty. Mold and mildew build up there with amazing rapidity (it's nasty!), and if you have long hair, forget it! I have to keep a tool handy to pry the plate up (it's not very secure, but awkward to remove) at the end of every shower to clean out the drain, otherwise hair builds up very quickly and blocks the drain. Then, because the suction cups are no longer attached, it's a puzzle to put the thing back together ... Every. Single. Day. I would just pull the plate out and throw it away, but the contours of the piece are seriously uncomfortable to step on without it. If I wasn't looking at thousands of dollars to pull out the shower floor and redo the tile in a recently renovated bathroom that I already spent thousands on, it would be gone by now. As is, it's a major nuisance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Quality Reasonably heavy duty shower receptor that looks great. Easy to install with good installation instructions (even for a DIYer)
