Tub crack
This tub flooded out my basement. Numerous reviews on the Internet with the crack in the same spot just above the Reinforced membrane on the back side of the tub.

Poor quality tub does not last.
The first tub received was cracked in shipping. The second one was installed (by my licensed contractor as part of a whole house renovation) in November 2016. By November 2017, just past the warranty period, small hairline cracks had developed. Today one of those cracks opened up and caused a substantial leak into the basement below. This was a very expensive tub, is made of poor quality, prone to breakage and has an inadequate warranty. I would not purchase Kohler again after this experience.
