Kohler drain
You have to buy Koher's overpriced drain to put in the tub. My plumber used the end pieces but reworked the drain lines so that servicing is easier. The polish nickel finish on the end pieces is very nice and matches the rest of the bathroom fixtures.

The reason I purchased this is because I bought the Kohler Archer whirlpool tub, and the drain needed to be installed with it. It works perfectly and matches the other Kohler shower accessories I bought.

Black drain assembly
Did not know the whole drain assemble was plastic. It's also larger and thicker looking than the picture. It works, so i guess that's what really matters.
