Easy to install once you know the location and tie in points shipment came quick we had it in and ready for service inside of an hour. Installed it on a 9194 cast iron shower base.

NOT entirely polished chrome
Kohler “cheaped out” on an otherwise high end product. This drain has a gorgeous, heavy weight, beautiful polished chrome outer flange. BUT the center strainer is NOT polished chrome nor is it high end. The finish is similar to any cheaper, stainless steel”ish” finish found on every drain sold in big box home stores. I’m very disappointed and frustrated with Kohler for cutting corners and misleading the consumer. The picture is misleading, depicting the drain flange and strainer as matching when they do not. And the product description also omits the discrepancy.
I ordered almost $3000 on a Kohler shower solution that included Kohler polished Chrome to learn that Kohler cut corners to save themselves a small amount of money on a very visible component that distracts from what to me, is a huge investment.

Quality Kohler Drain for the Kohler Shower Pan
High quality, and made to fit Kohler Shower bases effectively. Don't buy a generic drain and regret your decision.
