Worked at first
We remodeled our bathroom about 3 years ago almost 4. And I feel in love with the look of Purist. Our contractor installed this toilet holder. At first it wasn’t too bad but after a few months it started becoming loose and we would tighten it. And the. After two years it just started coming so loose it just hangs out of the wall. You have to actually hold it up to pull down the toilet paper or else it falls off and the fixture moves. It’s very frustrating since we thought we were getting a good quality product. This was supposed to be a lasting fixture in our bathroom especially since it’s a rose gold color. We can’t just go out and buy something because it may not match properly. This is very disappointing. We definitely have to replace it. I would not recommend this product based on functionality. Visually it is beautiful.

missing parts
Typically I do not look at any other product except Kohler. Our kit only came with the left arm. Would install it as a single arm but it will look unfinished considering the way the end is finished out for clipping into the right side. Would love to have the missing part

Functions Well
Surprised by the poor reviews. Maybe boils down to good installation. Use chrome and polished nickel holders in two bathrooms and work perfectly. Easy maneuvering for small kids and older adults. Clean polished look. No complaints, both in use for 3 years plus.

Poor Design and Functionality
We have 2 Kohler Purist toilet paper holders in our brand new Condo (Venue, Alexandria, VA) that have been loose and slanted toward the floor since the day we moved in. The toilet paper roll slides off onto the floor. The screw on the underside of the fixture does not seem to tighten and correct the problem. Very disappointing.

Excellent, sturdy, VERY easy to change the roll
We installed these in two bathrooms at the beginning of 2021 and have been nothing but pleased with them. In fact I love them. They are the sturdiest roll holders we have ever installed or used. And to change the roll you simply tip the roll holder up slide it on, and drop it back down. Couldn't be easier. Much better and more sturdy than the single arm ones because it has two points of contact with the wall -- the single arms never stay level -- but just as easy to change. Really.

Does not function properly
I agree with the other reviews. This just doesn’t work. Every time I use it the pivoting bar comes loose, completely comes
off and the toilet paper falls off. I don’t know if it’s missing a rubber stopper or something to secure the latch but there’s clearly a design flaw. It shouldn’t be this difficult to latch especially after paying so much for this product. I have other kohler TP holders and none of them function this way but this one was by far the most expensive and doesn’t work. Completely frustrated by this and disappointed.
