Misleading
Nowhere in the product description does it state that the base plate is made of plastic. For the matte black option. Very frustrating! The product quality definitely does not match the price.

How can anyone like this? The water spots are terrible!
I've never experienced water spots like the ones that show up on the Kohler brushed nickel shower fixtures. It looks absolutely terrible unless you meticulously wipe them down immediately. Unfortunately I got this plus a shower arm, tub spout and faucet. I hate all of them because of the water spots. I tried a faucet polish it did nothing. If you let water spots accumulate it is very hard to get them off the fixtures. DO NOT BUY any kohler brushed nickel fixtures if you care about what they look like.

Very Nice Product for a Great Price!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just updated my guest bathroom and used this in my shower. It is very modern looking and feels sturdy when you turn the handle. It says on the trim hot and cold so you know which way to turn the handle (great for kids!). Very happy with my purchase.
