Great looking but function..?
Overall the Kohler k-5415 is a beautiful "looking" sink. We have owned this for
Likes: Very roomy, stylish, quiet and has a nice exterior finish. I like the apron shape on this sink and its size.
Dislikes: The interior is difficult to keep clean and free of food particles. The overall slope of the sink needs more pitch to bring the debris to the drain. I am constantly cleaning the bottom of the sink or food and juice residue will be left to dry. This is a daily annoyance and I wish I was able to test this sink out before purchasing. I feel this is a design flaw so I gave it a 2 star. We have owned this sink for 2 years and it isn't going to get better.

Design suggestion
I installed this product within the last 4-5 years and there is not a day goes by that I don't think I should tell someone about the issue I have with it. Not sure if anyone cares but the fact that the bottom of this sink is flat means that whatever is in it (food, scraps, etc.) has to be physically washed or pushed down into the drain. If the bottom was only slightly angled to the drain, anything there would be washed down during the process, thus eliminating necessity to manually push things into the drain.
I may be the only person with this suggestion or a choice possibly would have been offered.

We have had the Strive® 35-1/2" x 21-1/4" x 9-5/16" under-mount single-bowl farmhouse kitchen sink, K-5415-NA, for 3+ years now. It has performed well for us with minimal scratches. We are a residential customer with demanding cooking habits, regularly using large, heavy cookware. I appreciate the sink rack and think it has protected the sink from scratches. I know it has protected my delicate porcelain and crystal from trauma and breakage. I come to this site in search of replacement feet for the sink rack. Early on, they deformed upon exposure to high temperature water. This leaves the center of the rack much higher than the edges. Thank you for any recommendations on replacement feet.

Beautiful sink
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After reading the reviews I need to say that after two years of use, our sink it great. The two bowls with the short divide are great as you have room for very large items yet the ability to fill a little sink with water to clean small items. Being SS there is option for scratches but we have had not problems with that issue. My opinion is, if you are worried about a little scratch in your sink you have greater issues to deal with than be solved here in this forum.
Great sink in our 120 year old farm house...

Terrible!!
This sink SCRATCHES with everything you put in it!! WHY would you make a sink that scratches no matter what is set in it? A sink should be durable, not something for show!! DO NOT purchase this, I have never seen something scratch so bad! Definitely not getting what you pay for, shame on you Kohler!

Scratches!
We chose this sink from our builder and have lived with it for a year. I rack is a hindrance and impossible to keep clean. Food gets caught in it and you have to scrub it on top and underneath. Food gets stuck everywhere in this sink! Tried using without the rack (so I could put a small dish drainer inside) and everything that touches the sink caused permanent scratches (silverware, pots, etc). Would never recommend a sink that is so much work! Bought it for the Koehler quality and beauty but regret it every day!

Does not drain well
This is in a new house we purchased hard to clean. Food stays in the bottom and you have to scrape it to the middle.
