Great Tub Choice....WIDE LEDGE IS AWESOME!
It's a challenge to find a cast iron alcove tub anymore, and options are slim. However, this tub with the wide ledge is working great for our needs. We like to give our little ones baths before bed and this tub works well. The tub itself isn't too deep (which works well for our application) and the wide back ledge is great for their toys, shampoo, soap, etc. As they grow and use this shower as teens we envision the extra width being a big plus as well. Just make sure it fits your space!

Kohler Villager Bathtub
Is this tub heavy? Sure is, but came packed very well and great shape. We were not aware that the delivery company would bring it in a 53 ft semi with no lift on the trailer and only the driver. Luckily my plumber was working in the house and being young and strong, was able to help unload this 350 pound item without a scratch. The tub had to be carried to the garage as the driver did not even have a wheeled cart. Happy with the item and the price. Kohler products ended up throughout our kitchen and bath and glad for that. Tub in place, but not yet connected. Cannot wait!
