- Bare foam pigs are primarily used for drying and sweeping of loose debris and gauging of internal pipe conditions before extensive pigging
- CYL (light-density bare swabs) are constructed of 2 pound per cubic foot density foam and are not coated with polyurethane elastomer on base as with the LB series
- However, other functions include using as a gauging pig for determining internal pipe conditions prior to extensive pigging, using as a sealing pig behind a stuck pig, using for batching and product removal, as well as, using in concrete pumping trucks between batches
