- Plast-O-Matic normally closed check valves provide leak-free sealing in any position
- Exceptional chemical resistance
- Unlike standard ball check valves and they require no backpressure for a positive seal in the closed position
- Valves open with 1.0 to 1.5 psi of inlet pressure
- The spring is PFA (comparable to Teflon®) encapsulated stainless steel for absolute chemical isolation
- Valves feature a union nut assembly to simplify inspection/removal with minimum piping breakdown
- Designed to provide the same superior performance as the patented Plast-O-Matic diaphragm check valve.
- Normally-closed design, self-sealing, not dependent upon gravity, mounting position or reverse flow, a significant improvement over ball check valves.
- Leak-free sealing protects against the potential hazards created by reverse flow corrosive liquids such as acids, caustics and chlorine solutions.
- PFA encapsulated stainless steel spring provides bubble-tight seal mounted in any position.
