Avoid. Installation is hard to do safely.
While a very good looking fixture, I immediately removed it due to questioning the safety of its install. My instincts were right and it was indeed unsafe.
You have to thread the wiring through a very tight threaded pipe. Tight so that the wire can't rotate within the threaded pipe. That means as you secure the fixture the wire is twisting and rubbing against the metal. Many light fixtures you can do this within view holding the wire to keep it from twisting, then clip on the canopy to hide the wires. In this case you do it through the canopy out of view and unable to protect the wire. This results in the wires being twisted against the threaded pipe.
When inspecting on removal, I did see there was a break in the insulation of the wiring. Just as I suspected.
I don't see how you could secure the fixture without running the risk of fraying the wires, nor do I see a way to inspect the wires without recreating the problem on reinstallation.
