The best machine for the job
This will help you in all plumbing service - commercial, residential, high-rise - great for anything up to 11/2" and then you will need k60. A must have for any service truck. If that is not enough - The machine will outlast your carrier.

awesome tool
we bout this last year to replace the old one we had which is probaly one the first k-50 made lol this machine is very versitile we use it from cleaning large drains to sink drains on a old 12 story building some these pipes are so corroded cast iron be very careful with this machine as it is very powerful ive actually went through the sidewall of the cast iron luckily its all being replalced probaly wont be using this as much after the remodel is done.

This has proven to be a great tool after I finally learned the process of running it. The only thing I don’t like about itbis the fact that the cable just flops around on the floor behind you and this could be unsanitary in a hospital!

No Auto Feed!!!!
Probably the best drain machine made because of power, portability, light weight, and size of cable, but there is one critical flaw with this machine in that it has NO AUTO FEED so unless you get the cutter to spin right where the clog is, you cannot cut all the way down a line or go back and forward to cut over the clogged area. Ridgid needs to make an auto feed for this machine to make it the absolute best drain machine otherwise it will just continue to be what it is with the limitations it has.
