- 1/2" (12 mm) cable best for 3" to 4" (50 mm to 110 mm) lines.
- Integrated Transport Cart - Easy movement to and from the job site. Heavy-duty, large wheels easily navigate over bumps and up stairs.
- 3/8" (10 mm) cable best for 1 1/2" to 3" (40 mm to 75 mm) lines.
- "Solid Core” Cable - uses tough 3?8" (10 mm) or 1?2" (12 mm) Integral Wound (IW) solid core cable that is rugged and kink resistant.
- Cable Control System - causes the drum to stop spinning when the blade becomes lodged in a blockage, limits potential for cable to flip-over in the drum and helps to indicate to operator when blockages are encountered.
- Retractable Handle - high-handle height during transport.

This old dog’s never let me down
Man I’ve cleaned over a hundred drains with this Ridgid K 400
I’ve changed the cable once in 20 years. Only due to my neglect.
It sat unused on a roof and forgotten for over 2 years and today I found it and brought it down. Wheeled it to my shop, plugged it in, and it ran like new.
Sprayed some wd40 on it and the cable and will need to get a new belt BUT it works great.
Ridgid is the best.

Amazing Machine worth every penny!!
Im a Service Plumber and deal with alot of snaking in restaurant fast food chains ect. This machine is perfect very maneuverable around tight spaces the enclosed drum helps prevent any major cleanup after the job has been done it has treated me very well. I would highly recommend this machine.

Effortless clearing
Have had this unit for several years and it is nothing but fantastic. Use it on everything from 1 1/2” to 3” and it has never failed me. Even after a large tree fell on it! Still works like new!

Excellent machine for tough clogs.
This machine gets the job done. It comes with parts to use for other different clogs and a 75ft cable. The clog I had to get rid off was more than 50 ft out. Other machines would not have been able to do the job. I highly recommend Ridgid's this machine for small to large clogs in homes.
