Well designed and consistent
We actually won this tool in a contest. As we have other Milwaukee products we have a few of their press tools. The Ridgid RP-241 press tool is slightly faster at pressing and it’s nice to have the little click at the end of the press so you know it’s been competed properly. The tool feels good in hand, and the trigger is in a good position. Battery life is solid. Carrying case is well put together, the heads don’t move out of their spots when the case is closed.
You can’t go wrong if choosing this tool.

Not as heavy.better for tighter work space
Great toll has the size and power to be press. Most of the time I only need 1/2-1”. Much better to pack around

The RP 241 is my go to press tool. It has a lot of power in a small foot print. I press pretty well every day and 9 times out of 10 I'm grabbing the RP 241!

Game changer
I purposely purchased this to save time and money. I didn’t want to wait around for an hour after the job, to make there sure were no possible issues with fire etc, when using a torch. Pressing dripping pipes in a matter of seconds, has increased speed on all jobs with zero leaks. Yes the fittings are more expensive but the time saved blows that out of the water. Another brilliant Ridgid product, with very knowledgeable reps that I have dealt with!

Consistent and Dependable
The RP241 has been an invaluable tool in my plumbing tool arsenal. Delivers consistent results on 1/2" - 1 1/4" copper press fittings as well as 1/2" & 3/4" black iron pipe for mega press. The design helps get into tighter spaces easier than its pistol style counterparts. Definitely recommend to anyone and a great investment for any plumbing contractor.

Best and most versatile press tool made
I got this actually second hand from a late, fellow plumber's company. Basically it had seen not a whole lot of use and worked great for the for small amount of work I do.
If you are into the smaller jobs this is the one you need.

Game changer
I’ve had this tool for six months , initially I used it spasmodically but recently by chance of a shoulder injury caused by excessive use of push fit pex systems I’ve increased using the RP 241 , my shoulders have never felt better . Well done Ridgid
