I have been disappointed with the units performanc
Had it 2 years. Has not met expectations. Temperature fluctuations often if water is used elsewhere in the house. Have to turn shower dial to more hot setting.

Haven't seen a benefit
I haven't seen a benefit to the tankless water heater. In fact, the recirculation drives me INSANE and I have no idea how that saves me propane

Quick hot water all the time.
I recently had a Rinnai tankless water heater with recirculation pump installed- and it has been great. Quick hot water all the time. Much improved over the previous Rinnai water heater.

Easy to understand what the water temperature is set to, easy to adjust as needed. Reading is digital vs. A, B, C, …,
What do we like or dislike about the water heater? Quiet, ENDLESS, no noticeable temperature drop with multiple points of simultaneous use (clothes washer, dishwasher, sinks).
Replaced a 50 Gal tank, now the water heater is up on the wall, leaving half the utility closet open for some storage.
Happy owners of a Rinnai RSC199iN for the last three months.

My only complaint is
I have had two units installed. My only beef is that the unit needs a wifi access point so that temp, timing and other features can be adjusted in the home. The current setup is not satisfactory

My Rinnai experience
The learning feature of the unit has helped a lot. When it was first installed we had trouble because it took so long to get hot water to certain faucets. In addition it took a long time to get cold water after we had hot water. We have had the water heater since mid August. Currently it works rather well thanks to the company that installed the unit. They were able to diagnose our problem and correct it. Our unit has the WiFi connection but it is not needed and is currently disabled. Using it did not allow the learning function of the heater to work properly.
