Master Bath redo - Kohler style
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It started with a leaking window that exposed a poor patch/coverup job on the drywall and the previous owner removing the bathtub because no one takes baths anymore. Except my wife. They also cut the size of the master bathroom in half so they could add a half-bath. The end result was less than 80 sq ft of poor construction and layout. After deciding to gut the room, we started with the Robern AiO 36x30x4 double door medicine cabinet and kept adding Kohler products: Damask 60 inch vanity, Ladena 21" undermount bathroom sink, Composed faucets, handles, and towelbars, and my wife's favorite: a Sunstruck 66x36 with Bask heated surface. It's now her favorite room in the house and we have our designer (me), contractor, and Kohler to thank! One suggestion to Robern would be to figure out a way to have the USB ports on the exterior of the unit, rather than behind doors. Also, the dimming/on/off button on the Robern is BRIGHT! If there was a way for it to match the intensity of the main lights, that would also be a nice upgrade. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with our purchases.
