Lovely and Easy to Use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased two different colors as they were used in different locations. The gold tone one is a middle tone of gold - not overly brassy and not antiqued. It works well with the location. The back plate is lovely and has NOT been prone to smudges or finger print marks. The knob is easy to grasp and the overall feel is sturdy.
The second color is silver and also blends well in the space. Note that these are obviously shaped different from the round backplate you may be replacing. On one door, the whole for the knob was drilled in such a way that this new backplate has a slight overhang into the recess door panel. I loved the new knob more than this slight overhang bothered me; so don't really notice it. But, be sure to measure your door panel and hole placement. Lastly, we painted the doors before installing the new hardware because the old round knobs were wider than the narrower new ones.
My husband was complaining a little about purchasing these when the current (cheap builder grade) knobs were "working". After replacing them, he is happy with how they look.

Gorgeous Victorian inspired
The measurements are exact. There is zero room to play with. It just fit my French door that was an odd size. But it looks gorgeous!!! I couldn’t be happier.

A very nice lock set and it looks great, but I am giving 4 stars because handle screws get loose and it gets hard to open the doors, so if you get this set remember to check and tighten the
handle screws.

We have a 1951 house. It has a little large whole opening which had to go on a door with a bigger whole. Do you sell a smaller same style opening?
