  • BFVAC NC - BUTTERFLY VALVE, ACTUATED / CLAMP ENDS / NORMALLY CLOSED - 1 1/2", Commonly referred to as "normally closed", these quarter-turn stainless steel sanitary Butterfly valves use a disc mounted on a rotating spring-loaded shaft to close and control flow. These valves are assembled with an actuator using air to open. Designed to create a leak-proof connection to clamp fitting when combined with a gasket and clamp. In the event of failure, these valves fail closed.
