How to Edit Company Settings
Company Settings lets companies self-manage their account, information and user permissions.NOTE: Access to Company Settings is only available to users set up as Company Administrators on ferguson.com.

Company Settings
There are three main features:
Personnel Management – Use the search bar to find existing users or contacts. If a match is found, you can edit the existing record. If no match is found, you’ll have the option to create a new user or contact.
Contacts – Users with ordering access can create contacts; Contacts can be used for pickup or shipping notifications; Require first name, last name, and phone number; Email is optional; Do not have login access to ferguson.com
Full Users - Have login access to ferguson.com; Require an email address; Are assigned roles that determine what actions they can take (view, order, etc.)
Edit Job Views – Manage employee access to new jobs all at once, eliminating the need to add employees individually each time a new job is created.
Budget Tracking: Set and manage monthly budgets for each job account.
User Roles
Assigned user roles define what features each ferguson.com user can access. These roles range from Basic users with limited access to Admins who have unrestricted access to all accounts, while the Combo role allows selective account access.
Basic Role – Can view orders, but cannot place orders, request quotes, or view invoices.
Accounting Role – Includes Basic access, plus accounting tools and the ability to view invoices.
Purchasing Role – Includes Basic access, plus the ability to request quotes and place orders.
Combo Role – Combines Basic, Accounting, and Purchasing access. Account access can be customized for each employee.
Admin Role – Unrestricted access to all site features and accounts.
Accounting Admin Role – Unrestricted access to all site features and accounts, with the ability to pay bills online and set up online bill pay access for other employees.
Budget Tracking
Budget Tracking - Budget Tracking lets users set and manage monthly spending targets for main and job accounts, assign a budget administrator to update budgets and receive Message Center alerts when spending reaches 80% or 100% of the budget, view budgets up to 12 months in advance, quickly edit monthly amounts, and click into spent totals to review related purchases.
- Manage Budget Tracking: View order spending for main and job accounts that have budgets enabled, including individual order amounts; quickly activate and manage budgets or edit existing budgets. NOTE: Purchases are applied to the budget month based on the order’s required‑by date.
- Purchaser Alerts: Purchasers and approvers receive pop-up warnings when an order exceeds budget targets, showing the budget administrator's name for contact. Despite warnings, orders can be placed even if they exceed the set budget.
