Product Description
- Fire hydrant nozzle section shall exhibit a classic fluted capital-dome appearance. The classic pacer shall offer complete part interchangeability with the contemporary pacer WB-67 fire hydrant
- Fire hydrants shall meet or exceed ANSI/AWWA C502, latest revision for use in water supply systems
- Rated working pressure shall be 250 psig, test pressure shall be 500 psig
- Hydrants shall be dry-barrel construction closing with and opening against the inlet pressure
- Hydrant main valve closure shall be of the compression type
- The nozzle section, upper and lower stand pipes and hydrant base shall be ductile iron
- The nozzle section shall be capable of rotation and employ the use of four (4) bolts and a stainless steel flange lock ring. Turning the nozzle section to the desired position shall be accomplished without damage to the barrel gaskets
- The hydrant shall have a travel stop nut in the top of the hydrant to limit the travel of the hydrant rod. Hydrant designs that allow the valve bottom to stop against the shoe or employ a stop in the drain mechanism resulting in a bending moment in the rod assembly are not allowed
- Hydrant to be certified to NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 and NSF/ANSI/CAN 372
- When ordered as such, the hydrant shall be UL listed and FM approved in allowable configurations
