- Interlocking make-up air dampers allow the range hood to operate at optimum levels by providing outside air when required to keep the air in the home fresher
- A sensor is attached to the exhaust duct to detect if the range hood is operating instead of requiring a direct wire connection between range hood and damper
- Interlocked make-up air damper systems meet IRC code requirements for make-up air with range hoods over 400 CFM
- Slave dampers can be connected to this main unit, providing a cost effective means of supplying higher volumes of make-up air (see model MD6S, MD8S, or MD10S)
- Fresh air wall caps are required for use with make-up air dampers
- Foam seals minimize air leakage
- Damper adjustment screw for balancing adjustments
- Includes 24 volt 20VA transformer
- Includes pressure switch kit
