- Model SP157A is a scald protection bleed valve
- Recommended for high ambient temperature locations where extreme heat or hot sun might cause internal water overheating. Flushes water through line when internal water temperature reaches 98 deg F (36.7° C) and closes at 95° F (35° C)
- Full open temperature is 105° F (40.6° C)
- 1/2 in. NPT inlet and outlet
