Product Description
- A versatile thread sealant for use on black iron, galvanized steel, copper, brass and aluminum pipe and fittings, can be used on lines carrying natural gas, air, steam, hydronic heating, ammonia, brine, diluted acids and sprinkler systems
- Pro dope is easily applied with a natural bristle brush
- Pro dope will not drip, is lead-free, non-toxic and won’t spill. It is non-separating and provides a tight, positive, leak free seal. Pro dope prevents rust and inhibits corrosion by forming a protective coating on threads
- Wipes clean from hands
- Designed for use with metal threaded pipe
- Oil-based thread sealant with a uniform, smooth consistency for easy application
- Suitable for use in temperatures ranging from 0°F to 350°F
- Use in pipe systems carrying water, natural gas, air, steam, ammonia, brine, diluted acids and alkalis
- Withstands air and steam pressure up to 200 psi
- Will not leak or drip out of the container
