- Reduces need for coupling on horizontal applications
- Functions as a coupling once the test dome is removed
- Holds pressure and saves on labor and extra costs associated with re-doing a failed test
- Will not blow out or burst under normal conditions
- Holds to 18 pounds per square inch of pressure in excess of 40' of vertical head in horizontal applications, and 13 pounds per square inch of pressure in 30' of vertical head in vertical tests
- No pump or special tools required
- Test with air or water and up to 9' deep
