- Requires no special tools to install on hot or cold-water lines
- Compatible with PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT and HDPE SDR-9 pipe
- Can be installed on wet or dry lines and pressure tested immediately
- Fitting can be rotated after installation to help with alignment in tight spaces
- Removable with a SharkBite Max disconnect clip, tongs or pro disconnect tool
- PEX tube liner not required, simplifying installation on PEX pipe
- Approved for underground and behind-the-wall use with no access panels; wrap when burying underground
- Low-lead DZR corrosion-resistant brass body for long-term durability
- Stainless steel collet retainer adds strength and helps maintain a secure connection
- Specially formulated O-ring compresses around the pipe to create a dependable, watertight seal
