- Eliminates precise field-cuts of pipe for ease of installation
- Adapter body length provides improved future service, maintenance, or replacement
- Compression O-ring eliminates the need for other flange gaskets
- Allows the use of wedge-style and serration-lock devices
- Drop-in slotted bolt areas for mechanical joint and flanged ends
- Mechanical Joint restraining gland that implements a series of individually activated wedges into the mechanical joint follower gland
- Wedge actuating bolt provides the installer with a visual torque indicator when the breakaway top disengages at the time of installation
- The breakaway top and secondary shoulder stop ensure proper engagement of the wedge segment at the time of installation
- ONE-LOK™ SLCE’s wedge actuating bolt provides the installer with two visual torque indicators
- The breakaway top is sized to match the same dimensions of the bolts and nuts used to assemble the mechanical joint fitting and follower gland, eliminating the need for special installation tools
